Woke this morning to a brisk wind. Put up main and jib but wind got a little feisty so jib was furled and we were doing 4+kts on the main alone. Had a couple of gust at 20 kts + so we put a reef in. All in all a great day for sailing. Finally saw some larger ships one just kind of snuck up on us - I know how could that happen - they are surprisingly quite. It was great going under the bridge that Tom and I have been on dozens of times. - No pictures of us coming up the river - it was hot and way to dicey for me to take pictures. Slipped in to our slip, it is cooling off so we should have a good nights sleep.
