July 10th Roger City to Presque Isle Harbor

We sailed all day to get the 15.8 miles to Presque Isle – but it was sailing, quiet and we relaxed.
Good news I finally fixed something on the boat. Laura 1- Tom ( well we have stopped counting) – the drain in the bathroom was backing up. After a couple of treatments of boiling hot water and bleach it is draining  quick as ever.
We saw some Square rig ships on the horizon and I have some interesting photos of what looks like ghost ships.  Presque Isle Harbor is very sheltered and quiet. Tom and I took a dingy ride to the far shore and I walked along collecting rocks for my collection.  Meghan called while we were out there – cell service has been sketchy so it was quite a surprise when the phone rang.
Beautiful  sunset – and a peaceful night’s sleep. Woke to 50 degrees and I quickly made a hot breakfast of pancakes and bacon. We were off by 7:30 Am
