Harrisville Harbor to Tawas Bay July 12 - 14th day of trip

Harrisville is a very shallow harbor - so coming in we found a rock that was in an area marked 9' or better - not big harm down but that should have warned us that this would not be an easy docking. We had the wind switch and start pushing us in- our dock was not where they said it would be - one helper dropped the rope, the other let go of the bow rope- so we were all helter skelter - I rammed my toe trying to get to a pole to push us away - some how we ended up bow in the slip - big scratches in Cool Hand -  all in all not happy campers -

cleared the harbor - avoiding all the shallow spots
