Seneca Park Zoo, Rochester NY August 12th 2012

It is Sunday and even though the sky was blue over the boat, there were gray skies on the horizon and again the prediction of rain. We can't return the car until Monday AM when they can bring us back to the boat so we decided to do some more shopping and exploring. We found a Starbucks in a Target for my early morning coffee, but needed to find one later one to stock up on ground coffee and the NY Times. After a few other stops we went to the Seneca Park Zoo. It is a medium size zoo with lots of activities for children and what looks like an excellent program to get teens involved. Tom and I wander around, it was hot and humid so the animals for the most part were board and trying to stay cool.  I managed to get a few interesting pictures. Enjoy
