Monday August 20th - our last day in the Great Lakes - Tomorrow we move on

We woke early and to 53degrees - again -  bacon and eggs heated up the boat and Tom and I started on the small chores to get us ready to leave. Cool Hand has the profile of a cigarette boat now, she looks odd with out her mast. Tom worked on our starboard water tank. We have had a water slosh leak and we think we have a solution for it. If it works ( Tom re-sealed the entry ports ) we will fix the left tank. Tom fixed the leak from the grab rail on deck. We refolded the Jib and I scrubbed the cock pit - still need to scrub the deck but did not want to close the hatches - it finally got warm.

Today Chasseur and East Bound and down had their mast pulled so our small group is finally ready to leave for the canal. Today a storm front moved around us with all the clouds and thunder all around us - but no rain.  I walked out on the beach and took the last sunset pictures from the great lakes.

Keep us in your prayers - Fair Winds to all.

so many rocks - so much time to play
