part two of August 9th - on our way to Rochester

We started out late from Point Breeze. A side note about loading this blog - Marinas advertise they have "free Wi-fi" but it is the worst  connection possible.  I bought a booster and even with it the signal is weak. - now back to our trip. The weather forecast was for thunderstorm in the evening and of course the wind was right on the nose-we motored. The humidity was high but with the cloud cover we did not have the sun beating down on us. We got to Rochester by 2pm and found that our safe harbor was tied to the end of a pier with a noisy bubbler and we have to pay for electricity. We are running the air condition to drown out the vacuum cleaner sound of the bubbler.  We did have a good lunch at the marina restaurant.
This is where Tom found Cool Hand. We took a walk and talked to the sales man that brokered the deal and later had the prior owner over to see what we did to the old girl. It was a happy reunion.

we never did find out what this marker was for other than
a bird resting place.
