Brewerton - across Lake Oneida

We stopped for the night at Ess & Kay Boat Yard  meeting Kay and Kim. The marina is a great stop over before entering Lake Oneida. Green grass, hot showers, a book exchange and all the parts your boat could need or they will find it and get it to you.

After a peaceful night we topped of our fuel and then head for the "dreaded"  Lake Oneida. It is a very shallow lake so when the wind kicks up the waves can come on fast and furious. Another problem is wakes from power boats so  it can make life interesting if you have your mast on board - we didn't so NO PROBLEM.
Office of Ess & Kay
A Great Blue Heron buzzed us
The day was calm - no wind to speak of so the reflections of the water
made for some neat photographs
Yep - this was coming down the canal - just could not resist.

This was an interesting web - not on our boat - and I checked twice to
make sure what ever made it stayed on the dock

The Dreaded Lake Oneida - flat and filled with Bass Fisherman
for a tournament. We are getting good at dodging fishing boats.

this is kind-of what we would look like if we were
carrying our mast. You can see it looks off and a little awkward.
