Moving south From Oriental NC to Morehead City NC

We finally had to say farewell to River Dunes Marina. If you are ever in the area of Oriental NC. this is well worth the stop. There were at least 8 other boats leaving with us this morning. Dotty and Has on board Skye  followed us into Morehead City Yacht Basin for the night. It is cold 36 degrees when we woke up and only 41 when we cast off lines and headed out. We did have sun but the wind took away any warmth. We quickly crossed the Neuse River over to Adams Creek Canal until we arrived at Core Creek and ICW mile marker 200 - only 800 plus to go. When we were entering the Marina there were a flock of Egrets - I was tossing lines so I had to wait until we were tied off to get Photos. The bird photos will be on the next Blog.
Tomorrow we are "thinking" of anchoring out - trying for Swansboro, Camp Lejune area, but we are still suppose to have high 30 degree temps at night.
