Friday in Belhaven NC

We stayed in Belhaven on Friday waiting for a diver "Catfish" to come and look at our prop. When we try and go in reverse we have to give it full throttle then it goes Clunk very loudly and shifts to reverse. Catfish put grease in the shaft and when we tried it in the slip it easily slipped into gear.  Hopefully problem solved. Later in the day we left our dock and moved to the wall facing out so we could leave early in the morning with no drama.  

Belhaven waterway Marina is a gem. It is small but the owners Les and Brenda take pride in the facility. The bathroom was great more like home than a public facility.  The town is struggling with lots of empty shops but I bough a great Pineapple cake at Gingerbread Bakery.  Les drove Tom and I to the Food Lion so we stocked up on supplies ( Coke and Zero).
