First beach excursion, Shell Beach South Bimini Island

I could not resist the temptation of a beach so close and a setting sun. So a short walk down the edge of the break wall and found a small portion of Shell Beach. It is a wonderland of
shells, shell fragments and unique stones. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Conch is a common name that is applied to a number of different medium to large-sized sea snails or their shells. The term generally applies to large sea snails whose shell has a high spire and a noticeable siphonal canal (in other words, the shell comes to a point at both ends).

All along our journey I have taken photos of Carins. The first ones
were at Mackinaw Island, however I have never build one. This beach had Pumice stones, a kind of floating rock that is formed during explosive volcanic eruptions. These rocks are a frozen foam - worn by wave action and I topped it with a piece of Conch shell.
