On to the Abacos, Spanish Cay

Monday and Tuesday
We finally bid farewell to Old Bahama Bay and started our journey to the Abacos Islands. First way-point Memory Rock then an overnight stay at Great Sale Cay. We had traveling companions, S/V EL Tesoro and Urban and Carina followed us out and we were on our way. The first couple of hours we had our sails out and maintained about 5+ knots but the second leg put the wind right on the nose so we settled in for a motoring day. We arrived at Great Sale Cay just after dark, dropped anchor, ate a hot meal, falling asleep to gentle rocking waves.
Sunrise and we were off by 7:30. there were dark clouds on the horizon, foretelling rain somewhere in our future. Around 10 we got a little cloud burst, washing some salt from our decks.
We had two wonderful days on the sea....
Tom and Joy were on the dock to greet us at Spanish Cay. We had an excellent dinner, tomorrow we will start out around 10 (island time) and find a lovely cay to anchor in and explore.
