Surviving the first storm

Thursday
Well last nights storm blew through and we suffered only a few leaks. It was disconcerting to see lightening flashing over head through the hatch, but all in all it wasn't to rough of a ride. I was surprised by the sound of the thunder. There were no loud cracks, but long rolling booms that seemed to be absorbed by the water.

Today we made a successfull trip to the dock to get fuel, water and a pump out. I freed us from the mooring with out falling in, and caught the line up when we returned. Still doing repairs. Finally got the bathroom faucet in so Tom has his task for tomorrow.
I will clean the glass on the dodger and try cleaning more of the deck.

If the weather clears up Sunday we plan to set sail, Keep you fingers crossed for us.
