From Beaufort SC to anchor in Vernon River - November 29

We woke early 6:30 am got ready and cast off lines leaving Beaufort behind and planing to be in Georgia by night fall. We decided to anchor our for the next few days. Weather was showing evening temps in the 50's and there really are not very many marinas in the Georgia Marshes. The route is zig zags creeks and rivers connected by land cuts. We traveled 68 nautical miles to our first night on the hook in Georgia, south of Savannah.
