I know it has been awhile.

11/3/15... Morehead City, North Carolina
The last time I posted was in August. We went as far north as Norfolk, Va... A wonderful visit with our daughter Patty and family, then headed south again. Our plan was a short stay in New Bern NC, for Mumfest and catch up with friends Tom and Joy and meet up with Has in S/V Skye.

Mumfest was kind-of a bust... There really weren't any mums to speak of, no flower shows, nothing really agricultural... Just a large town street, boat vendor fair. I did get a flu shot... Don't know if people brag about that when they go to a fair.
I do kike the farmers market in New Bern, met new craft people, got hooked on a great savory bacon sausage, and had farm fresh eggs for the duration.

While we were there Tomorrow started his hunt for the source of water that was continually in our bilge. At first is wasn't a heart deal. We would run the bilge pump once or twice a day.... Then two or three times....the amount of water kept coming in at greater volumes and we decided to go back to Sailcraft in Oriental NC and have her hauled out again and look at the keel... 12 days later, 10 in a motel we not have a firmly attached keel.
We are headed for our Thanksgiving berth in Brunswick Ga... But it is raining again. So we may be here for a day or too.
