Part Three Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Florida

Finally went through the last of the photographs from the Corkscrew Swamp. This is a unique park and if you are in Florida it is well worth the stop.
We could hear the Red Should Hawks calling each other
high in the trees. I saw this one circling and followed it to where
it landed.

Tree branches are coated in Resurrection Fern
on of many trees that continue to grow even if they
have lost their crown in a wind storm
The park policy is not to cut trees so they make cut out s
in the broad walk rails
some times the cut out is not enough but the tree will
prevail
