The weather report did say there was rain on the way - but look at these pictures. There were clouds but no waves - what is a little rain??? 
Here is a hint - all the birds were headed towards land. DAHWe left the safe harbor and did not put up our sails. The storm kind-of snuck up on us then it was there. Our wind generator comes on by itself after 45mph winds - it was buzzing away. I chickened out and went below - brave Tom fought the waves and stinging rain. We took water over the boat but nothing broke and we only were cold and wet.

Kewaunee is a great town. My wife Jean lived there, and we spent a lot of time on the pier when dating.
