White Lake to Ludington- Sunday

The Moon was shining through the hatch and I could not resist giving it a try. The picture kind-e of came out. The clouds were a warning for the next day.

Sunrise on White Lake- the adage Red skies at dawn - we ignored and set out with Rubicon. We were going through the channel by 8 am. More than a few people stopped to watch to Pearsons under sail head out for open water.

Again we skitted the rain and weather. Winds were very light and we did motor sailing most of the day. Our convoy broke up - Rubicon went on to Portage Lake, Monarch went to Frankfort and we decided to head for Ludington.

Clouds along the shore were pretty amazing. It is intesting to watch them change.

Ok- to me this looks like a Smurf house.

Made it through to Ludington - just as some rain started to move in .

I have mentioned that we hoist the dingy on deck. When we dock we raise it up some so we can open the front hatch.

This is a boat that was across from us that a couple is refurbishing. The craftsmanship is excellent and when finished will be a show piece.

Posted by PicasaDay is done, had a good supper at PJ Steamers, hot shower and tomorrow we will head for Frankfort.
