We had a casual evening, no wi-fi so I worked on cross stitch book mark, and a knitted afghan while Tom read. We had no idea what to expect in the morning, the forecast was all over the place, from calm to slight chop and wind on the ICW. We are traveling with Dale and Pat in Nautical Dreamer and decided on another short hop. We need to get to Stuart Fl to get our main sail back and Tom order some new latches for our cupboards. The trip to Stuart was longer than we wanted to do in one day, we did not want to got down the St Lucie river in the dark. Dale and Pat need to get to West Palm for a Vet appointment so we would part ways for a few days but we would have one more night anchored out together.
As you can see from the following pictures, the weather was different in every direction. We woke to cloudy skies and a slight breeze, thank heavens no fog.
We anchored the south side of the Wabasso Highway bridge, a little narrow area of the Indian river so the fishing boats gave us a few rolling waves, but all in all a nice place to spend the night.
We have started to have a few mechanical hitches. Our batteries appeared not to be charging properly, the fridge is acting fritzy again. Tom checked everything out once we stopped for the night, no cause for panic yet.
