St. Patrick's Cathedral, MOMA long day - back to Staten Island

After walking around Rockerfeller plaza we found ourselves in front of St Patrick's Cathedral. I entered and was flabbergasted to find that Mass was in session. I walked around the church and found I was silently responding to the mass going on. This is a Cathedral dwarfs the person and the voices that were celebrating Mass.
The Cathedral of St. Patrick (commonly called St. Patrick's Cathedral) is a decorated Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States. It is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, and a parish church, located on the east side ofFifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in midtown ManhattanNew York CityNew York, directly across the street from Rockefeller Centerand specifically facing the Atlas statue.

At the end of the block for the Cathedral is Cartier - with a doorman
