Dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum and other adventures

On Thursday we set out a little confident that we could find Josh at the Empire State building for lunch. We are out of practice dealing with traffic and our 6 mile trip took close to an hour so we were running late. I was surprised that we opted for inside seats on the ferry, the scenery passing with out comment. We exited and again found our subway with out problem and emerged close to where we were suppose to meet. We must look like tourist - the guide book a dead give-away - dozens of young men and women assailed us trying to sell ticket to go up to the top of the Empire state building. After dodging the crowd we finally found Josh, or he found us and we went to Korea town and had a wonderful lunch.
Josh had to return to school and we quickly found our next train to the Natural History Museum. We both opted to see the Dinosaurs first, we were also getting tired.  The exhibit was amazing.  We wandered around and finally decided we would call it a day and headed back to the Ferry.  We found our first Train and got off at the correct station for the next train.  There was a gentlemen playing violin - really pretty good and a pleasant reprieve to all the noise of the trains.  Our train arrived; we said goodbye and took off.
OH NO – I left my back pack at the last stop – we flew out of the train and after several false starts and frantic questions to strangers we got on a train back to where we were - my back pack and the violin player were still there.  New York has been very good to us. We are exhausted and taking Friday off.
Friday we moved the boat from our slip at the marina to a mooring ball in the bay.  We went grocery shopping,  a stop at Barnes and Nobel to blog and Josh came over for Dinner.  All in all a great two days.
