Snow Day -

Some of you might find this funny - I went to Burger King, through the drive in, and ordered a cheeseburger with a coke. Well I got to the window, slide mine window open. The girl opened her window and a ton ( no exaggeration) fell into my car, into my lap, and I let out a loud yelp. The girl looked at me and said ( no joke ) "That will be $4.25"  - I looked at her and said the money is buried under the snow.  - Have to love Michigan.

January 3rd 2012

A new day - and  we had sun at the very beginning. I went to the lake - my new hat is doing a great job at keeping my ears and head warm, though I am getting some strange looks. Today didn't have my boots on - big mistake. There were a lot of people out taking pictures, families with dogs and children in tow. The water was calm but you can see the ice starting to form up. Beach a little treacherous to walk on - ice under the sand. 

Sticking snow- Saturday 12/17

Woke this morning to find all my fall leaves covered with snow. Winter begins and now we look a little more like the Christmas season. I do need to get a warmer hat for my walks on the beach - didn't go as far as I wanted to because ears got cold.
