Finally can get on line, but have no idea how long this will last. Our last post was on the trip back home ... in May. Since then
We made it to Michigan, opened up the the house, had a wedding, suffered through cold weather, sold my car and decided to bring Tom's car back with us. We drove back to Lady's Island Marina, opened up the boat, made a maintenance "to do " list, Left for Charleston SC to have Wind vane, new VHF antenna installed and rigging inspected.... rocker switch on our chart plotter broke, had to send that out to get fixed... in all a 3 week wait ....
Moving on we got to New Bern NC... Toms toilet malfunctions... gauges still not functioning and we still needed the rigging worked on. (the Rigging is all the metal wires that hold the Mast up and steady...)
Moved to Oriental to have rigging completed, bow thruster broke... since we needed to haul out to fix bow thruster we are getting bottom painted.
We are still on our way to Norfolk and the Chesapeake bay

| This is the first time in two years I got to see my flowers in bloom Even though it was 'cold" by our standards... in the 40's and 50's with frost warnings, I still had Peonies, roses and poppies. |

| Our turkeys came calling everyday we were home. They seemed very put out that we were back. House closed up, neighbors on alert, time to head back to the boat and warm weather |
