Our first stop was at St Johns Yacht harbor on St. Johns Island. We really like this marina even if their in a bit of a fix have lost the bridge that connects them by car to the main road. Currently you need to park on the other side and use the boardwalk to get to and from the slips... this is about a mile walk. They did have a gulf cart and we were lucky to hitch a few rides, but it was good exercise for both of us.
We had a failure on our chart plotter so that had to be packed up and sent off to be repaired...7 to 10 days before it would be fix. Tom worked on minor items here and there and Sean finally gave us the go ahead to cross the harbor and go into Charleston Harbor Marina. I will say our view was impressive. We could see all of the displays at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. Very disappointed with the Marina itself. They are not keeping up with the maintenance of the docks, their are no locks to keep the public off the docks, lights on the walk ways are broken and the Pump out boat is not always available because it is full. Their solution is for the boaters to go across the harbor to another marina to pump out...
Sean did an excellent job of installing our VHF antenna, wind indicator, wind vane and the inspection of our rigging. We left Charleston Harbor Marina returning to St Jons Yacht H

I finished this ONE legwarmer in Michigan only to find that I left the other ball of yarn on the boat. Back on the boat I have the yarn... the pattern is sitting on the table in Michigan |
I made Meghan's sweater while she was in College I finally finished Jennie's in time for Meghan's wedding |
