After the wedding we went back to Kemah and Waterford Harbor Marina and Tom started getting Cool Hand ready for our month long vacation north. Right now all of our canvas is down, we are double dock lined and our dingy is deflated and tied to the deck. A couple of our Pier mates will watch out for us and if a Tropical storm does come up the bay. August and September have been unusually quite.. Keeping our fingers crossed.
The weekend of September 20th, we went back to San Antonio and I had a reunion with my daughter, the first in over 30 years. Long story, but very happy weekend. Jennie met her step brother while she was on her honeymoon in California so our family has grown and we are looking forward to many occasions to get together.
I have been knitting and finished several projects and started several more, keeping my hands busy. I have also started to seriously look into buying a Pressure cooker for the boat. I have heard good reviews on the Fargo brand. I am going to make a decision while in Muskegon and go on for then.
Had a lovely birthday dinner with Josh and Jennie at the Melting Pot and
The big event Jennie is now Major Jennifer Eschbaugh Frilling ( still working on the official name change.)
Tuesday October 1st we will be on the road again.... back to Michigan for a month, touch bases with friends and family then back to Cool Hand.
