Monday, November 14, 2011 – Lake Michigan by Pere Marquette park What a difference a day makes. No wind today, however the sand is still covering the road going to the park. The waves were soft, constant wish, swish that can be hypnotically soothing. Walked the beach for about twenty minutes, they are swept clean of most litter. There were only a half dozen Gulls on the beach today, which is unusual for this time of year. Tomorrow the winds are increasing to 30 knots and 4 to 6 foot waves. They also are saying snow showers. My personal opinion is that snow never showers. |
