What a difference a day makes. We woke35 to 42 degrees but clear skies. No hassels getting out of the slip and started down the channel. In the next blog I will have pictures of the birds that I took but thought I would stick to just the trip in this blog.
WE SAILED the whole what ( well we took the sail down to enter the port.) Left Manitowoc at 9AM and tied to the dock in Port Washington at 5:35 PM.
We averaged more than 5 kts and most of that was with just our Main sail up. Cool wind, but a great sailing day.

Sun setting in Port Washington. We will be here for a few days waiting for the weather to clear up and cross over to Muskegon. Fair winds and calm seas
