June 3rd - ok folks not going as well as it could be.to begin with, learning to sleep with all the noises that a boat makes, water and other boats, wind, and what is happening on shore - well it makes a long night and little sleep. I swear there are fishes bumbing into the boat. Tom says no-
I have filtered out most of the noises putting in the catagory that we won't sink, and no we have not come loose and are drifting to shore. I think I will come up with a whole new language to discribe boat noises.
Made breakfast - stove working and then we came to shore to run errands. On arriving back we were greeted by a most unpleasant odor. It seems we have a leak somewhere in the head.
We cleaned up - cursed a lot - then went back home to shower - long hot showers.
Tom is still working at figuring out exactly what went wrong-
June 4 - last night very windy- discovered more boat noises - and can hear them from other boats. Will be fixing leaks today again. Replacing the bathroom sink faucets and fixing the leak under the kitchen sink - I should say Tom is doing this work- I am still cleaning - arranginging - cleaning -
